Stanley Farm is situated on the edge of the village of Blackwater, just 2 mins from the main A30 trunk road through Cornwall. Hidden down a secluded country lane, perfectly positioned to ‘get away from it all’ it’s surrounded by fields and has a beautiful enclosed flower garden and hot tub.

Approx 4 miles equidistant  between the small city of Truro and the north coast beach villages of Porthtowan, Chapel Porth, Perranporth and St Agnes, 1/2hr drive to Falmouth, St Michaels Mount , St Ives & the Eden Project, we’re ideal for day trips exploring West Cornwall. A 15 minute walk to 2 village pubs and the well stocked Blackwater village shop, which also provides takeaway meals Fri – Sun evenings.

The granite farmhouse has 5 bedrooms comfortably sleeping 10 with double sofa bed upstairs for 2 additional guests if required.

The large garden is a perfect suntrap, with BBQ and patio eating area.  Fresh eggs and vegetables are available daily upon request. Hot tub for guest’s private use. A large pond with a variety of fish has a metal grid cover to protect guest’s safety. There is ample parking for vehicles.

Fling open the doors and windows and listen to the bird song, spot the Roe deer, foxes and rabbits in the surrounding fields and watch the buzzards soaring above the house. Apart from the sound of the horse’s hooves and occasional distant traffic, it’s easy to forget how close you are to the main trunk road in Cornwall.

Just wait until darkness falls and the stars come out, shooting stars, comets and satellites all visible on clear nights with only the subtle changing lights from the hot tub, a perfectly un-polluted sky provides the most awesome experience to enjoy with a glass of wine relaxing and soaking up the pleasures of the night sky.
